Pentax Optio S7 is quite slim and compact, with 7 mega pixel sensor with ISO 100 ( at 4 mega pixel). The camera is one of the best in this series.
The best features that set this camera model apart are latest technologies like face recognition AF & AE, a 2.5″ LCD monitor, 3X optical zoom as well as a DivX Movie Mode. Blur Reduction reduces the camera shake effects. Besides the camera has high ISO mode that helps to reduce the effects of subject blurring for sharper images even during night and indoor sporting events. The camera does this by adjusting shutter speeds automatically to an ISO as high as 1600. This it does to match the brightness of the subject. Pentax Optio S7 produces crystal clear images . The images have high resolution afforded by its 7.0 effective mega pixels and the high-performance smc PENTAX lens.
Other features of the camera includes 232,000 pixels of high-resolution, 2.5 inch non-glare LCD monitor offering quick access to 16 shooting modes and 15 playback modes.
It also provides Digital zooming up to 4X magnification and has approximately 23 MB of built-in memory
